Roble Arts Gym
Working at the front desk of the Roble Arts Gym gave me experience communicating with students and being exposed to different art groups on campus. I also helped students with their art with projects and directing students to different arts resources on campus. During the pandemic, I led an hour-long virtual drawing workshop for Stanford Arts students and patrons.

Novel Writing
During the pandemic, I began writing a novel focusing on race, gender and youth in my hometown Gainesville, GA. I conducted interviews with members of my community and visited museums and historical sites to conduct research. I plan to finish and publish during my novel senior year under an independent study program.

Research
During winter quarter of my junior year, I am currently working as a research assistant on an American Studies project. The research focuses on black music and culture during covid, specifically the lives of black female musicians from the 1960s and 70s.
